Every project starts with a plan, and ends with results.
Chief Marketing Officer Wanted
Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt (THSH), a full-service commercial law firm in New York, sought a Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer (CMBDO) to lead and revitalize the firm’s marketing, communications and thought leadership efforts. During the search, they brought in CMO2Go to bridge the gap and keep their marketing momentum going.
The engagement started with a directive to maintain the firm’s robust brand awareness and social media presence, and fulfill everyday marketing requests from lawyers. The CMO2Go team also worked briefly with the outgoing CMO to get up to speed on the firm’s processes and technologies, including their complex client-facing e-marketing program.
Next, our senior consultant worked closely with the firm’s lawyers to write and edit targeted content, including email campaigns, social media posts, award submissions and client pitches. That collaboration was so successful that we were invited to brainstorm business development ideas with the firm’s partners. This resulted in a new M&A service offering to clients that we promoted with a new marketing brochure written by us. In addition, our senior consultant also managed our junior team member handling the firm’s CRM HubSpot database, LinkedIn presence and other routine tasks.
As a result, when the firm’s new CMBDO started a few months later, our senior consultant facilitated a smooth onboarding process. And as the new hire built her permanent team, CMO2Go continued to provide support, collaborating as needed and forging a close working relationship in her early days that continues today.
