Every project starts with a plan, and ends with results.
The Urgent RFP
Our client, a full-service midsize law firm based in New Orleans, received notice of an upcoming quick-turn panel RFP from a critical firm client. Based on a recommendation from a trusted source, the firm brought in the CMO2go team who immediately engaged with key partners to understand the client relationship, their priorities and the firm’s goals. Once the RFP was in our hands, we established a work plan and timeline.
We immediately brought in our RFP whisperer. She researched the company and decision makers and developed a strategy to meet the firm’s goals while focusing on what would be most important to the client. Next, she collaborated with our client’s team to uncover relevant matter data.
By keeping the focus on what the client valued, each member of the law firm team was able to provide examples illustrating how the legal service team delivers value and would be committed to the client’s success.
Our RFP whisperer drafted the proposal, incorporating strategic themes showcasing how the firm delivers value and results that were aligned with their client’s objectives. She refined that content to be as responsive as possible to the RFP questions, and created language that the firm could use for future RFP responses.
The final response was submitted on time, and was quickly followed by a round of follow-up questions. Over the course of a weekend, we drafted responses to the additional questions and created an infographic illustrating how the firm could support an expanded scope of work.
As a result, the firm was not only retained on the client’s Louisiana panel, but also secured additional coverage across the client’s South and Southeast territories.
